This report is one of a series of reports prepared by EconSearch for the Department of Trade and Economic Development to detail the method, data sources and results from construction of input-output (I-O) models for South Australia (SA) and its component Government and Regional Development Board (RDB) regions for 2006/07. The purpose of this report is to present, in a summarised form, some key data from the I-O models as well as some of the findings from an analysis of these data. These data include: key economic indicators for SA, SA Government regions and RDB regions for 2006/07 (including employment, value of output, gross state product and imports/exports by sector); and estimates of water consumption, net energy consumption and net greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by sector and SA Government region for 2006/07.
