There are now more people in this age group migrating from metropolitan to regional areas than vice versa. Many of these are regional 'Returners', people who have left in their younger years but come back later in life to resettle their roots in familiar ground.
Regions can offer people a lifestyle and quality of life that is beyond the reach of most in the city. In turn, the communities that people return to, and become a part of, benefit from new skills and resources that can be vital to their future.
