‘Thinking Regional and Rural’ is a new guidebook and online tool for all Victorian Government policy makers designed to place regional and rural issues front and centre. It’s a must-read to increase your knowledge and understanding of regional and rural issues. By systematically considering regional and rural areas in developing policy and legislation, it is hoped unintended consequences will be minimised and new opportunities can be brought to light where communities can benefit. The guidebook is meant to make your work easier by providing a step-by-step guide to assist you to identify, monitor and assess potential impacts of different decisions on regional and rural Victoria.
