Early school-leavers: a neglected group in rural Australia
- This article reports on a sample of early school-leavers in rural Australia who attempted to make the journey from school to work or training. Data was gathered from early school leavers and other informants, such as employers and providers, using interviews and focus group discussions. Key findings to emerge include a description of early leaver attitudes that make it difficult to gain employment and access suitable training. This article discusses the findings.
