Value Added! looks at the the economic and social contribution of cultural facilities and activities in Central NSW. The research for the first time reveals in hard figures the positive contribution to the local and regional communities and their economies made by the council operated facilities. The findings include their contribution to the regional gross product ( $14 million), the strong economic and social benefits of volunteers and the creation of jobs outside the cultural sector.
