Analyses the extent to which urban, regional and remote settings in South Australia impact upon the outcomes of Indigenous learners in the vocational education and training (VET) program; considers factors specific to each setting, the extent to which participants continue with further study, and how participation in the VET program contributes to employment; concludes that significant differences in opportunities for employment, work experience and choice of accredited study programs can be found between different localities; recommends that strategies for addressing improved outcomes consider the local context of each VET program.
