RDA South Coast Skills Audit

  • Year: 2012
  • Publisher: RDA Far South Coast
  • Published Location: Nowra, NSW

The purpose of this short audit was to discover what skills were currently missing on the
NSW South Coast; what skills would be needed to manage and generate future growth in
the region and what factors were constraining the development or attraction of these skills
to the region.

This snapshot would provide a baseline for further, more strategic discussion and planning
on how to develop and/or attract the necessary skills to the region.

This audit highlights that developing, attracting and retaining skills in the region is
determined more by larger economic and social issues than just skills development.
