The personal experience of a bush woman and health consumer, who is also the convenor of the Consumer Network Group of the Royal Flying Doctor Service Central Section, is outlined in part one of this paper. Part two describes the experience of Doctor Priscilla Whittle, provider of the Rural Women's GP Service. The particular health issues for rural women are discussed along with a brief evaluation of the progress of the program.
