Plan outlines areas for improvement of the Peel region, outlining issues such as increasing local employment, educational outcomes, maintaining and preserving the environmental assets of the region, improving social outcomes for the region, and ensuring the ongoing sustainability of the region. The plan also outlines flagship projects such as the creation of a non-climate dependent water supply, agricultural industry expansion, catchment and waterways protection, skills, research and intellectual property development and the attraction of the development of assets and major infrastructure in Mandurah as the Peel's regional city.
