The state of the world's children 2012 : children in an urban world
This edition of the annual 'State of the world's children' report focuses on children living in urban environments. It discusses the distribution of children in urban and rural areas; human rights in urban areas; access to sanitation, water, and education; child labour and trafficking; urban challenges for children; measurement and research; and development and case studies in policy and intervention. As with other editions, it also presents comparative tables on child welfare, child mortality, nutrition, health, HIV/AIDS, education, child protection, women's welfare, adolescent welfare, and equity, for developing and industrialized countries, including Australia.
